Bkk 2008

So Koo and I trotted off to Bkk as a treat for the 4 years we have been together.
The air tickets were freaking expensive since it was such a last minute booking.

And the Koo commented that he hasnt been on a budget plane yet... Hao lian!!!!!
Grrrrrr...

We left Singapore on Thursday night. It was a maddddd rush since I ended work @ 5.30pm and the plane was to leave @ 7.30pm supposedly. But it was a good experience I guess.

The days @ Bkk were just about shopping, eating and having massages.
We had a freaking sumptuous breakfast on the 1st day, made shirts and pants (kinda ugly I think), had disgusting bird's nest & sharks fins and shopped @ Platinum Mall & Suan Lum Night Market.

Oh ya, we also took a tuk-tuk for the 1st time. I must say it was the 1st and the last time.
The driver was so reckless and it made me freaked out. I thought I would die in foreign land actually.
I will just stick to cabs in the future.


So we went to Chatukchuk the next morning. It was our 1st time there despite visiting Bkk for several times. It was so omfg hot that I literally wanted to melt. I don't perspire easily and I sweat like a pig that day. It was disgusting man....
We couldnt take it after 3 hours and headed back to my favourite love, Platinum Mall.

We were sticky and gross human beings. -_-"

We had supper on the last night. Tsktsk me.
The Mexican food was fabulous, albeit expensive in from Bkk standards.

And then we flew back the next day and reached S'pore in the morning. Hoho.
I realised I bought loads of weekend clothes which was quite dumb since I needed working clothes the most. GAH!!

Am heading there again in June, but with the family this time. Think it should be relaxing since it will be less shopping and more chilling out. Can't wait.
