If the answer is yes.. then take a minute and think of this:

Are you a slacker now? As in you don't care about how you look now.
Gained lots of weight; pimply; unkempt hair; horrendous dressing etc.
Basically you don't give a damn about how you look because you found the love of your life.

I'm asking this cos I saw Hunchback Ow with his darling in town recently.
I must be damn down on my luck to see an eyesore. But it's ok. Not really affected when I see ugly things anymore.

Anyway, I'm appalled to see him in his present state. His unkempt hair, ugly dressing.. What the hell!!!! The way he looked make me feel ashamed of myself to be associated with him in the past.
Pui!!!

The point is of this entry is to remind everyone that even though you are happily attached, it's still important to maintain yourself.

Let me give you some examples..

My friend Ali.
She's happily attached but look at her!!! She takes the effort to dress up and maintain herself. From what i know, alot of guys can't take their eyes of her... (I see guys bio-ing her when we go out. -_-") Of course she doesn't make those effort to attract other guys... She only does it to make herself look presentable so that it will be pleasing to other people's eyes.

Don't give me those bullshit about not caring what others think.. Everyone cares.. to a certain degree. And if you can make the world a better place to live in by not looking like an eyesore, why not?

Another example. Haoling.
Look at her, everytime I see her with her bf, she is dressed up tastefully and she looks gorgeous! (Ok, I know that she is pretty by nature but if she didn't maintain, I will not have so many chances to praise her.) I think when you see someone like her, you will naturally light up. And not feel disgusted by her or feel sad for her.

So...... if you think you can rest on your laurels just because you have someone special now.. You are wrong. You should make more effort to look presentable so that

(1) he/ she won't get sick or bored of you
(2) he/she loves you even more for boosting his/her ego
(3) and also simply for your own benefits. =)

I have seen some cases where people got lazy and decided not to care about their appearance just because they are attached. That's not good.

I know appearance is not everything, but it is important. I thought everyone should know that? So if you are one of those lazy booboos... Drag your lazy backsides up today and

(1) Go for an exercise if your weight has suddenly ballooned
(2) Cut your hair if you have limp and lifeless hair
(3) Go for retail therapy and change your wardrobe if you have bad dressing
(4) Go and trim your eyebrows if you are hairy like me
(5) Go to N*S*C if you have bad skin genes like me

The possibilities are endless...

So go on.. It's the hols.. Help yourself!!!

Maybe.. just maybe when your ex sees you the next time, he/she will kick himself/herself in the back for losing you.. and not thank God for the lost relationship.....

I have decided to set up a nail painting business. Hoho... It's still not counted as manicure/pedicure cos I don't know the actual process of trimming the cuticles and what not.. I only know how to paint the nails.

Just did a french manicure for Jan.. but the base is white and black tips. I really think I have a talent for these nonsense.. So why not earn some money to cover the cost of buying the nail polish and all the crystals? Haha... Hope there's customers. I'm only charging $5, so we'll see.

The Lims..

I just read my youngest uncle's blog. The way he writes about the family is so accurate that it's funny. My mum had a good laugh after that.

He is my favourite uncle by the way.

I think he is my siblings' favourite uncle too.

Anyway, I adore the way my mum and her siblings love and care about one another. It's so genuine and heart-warming. I hope Jan, Jer and I will be like them when we grow up next time.

My fondest memories were during CNY few years back. The whole bunch of us went to Gent*ing and I had so much fun there. I didn't even mind missing collecting angbaos. I also remembered having the worst cramp ever and was left behind in the hotel room. Hee...

Aiyah, the whole point is I love my uncles and aunties very much. All of them dote on my mum very very much.. And I really appreciate that. Nothing can express my gratitude towards them..

One day... I hope I have the ability and treat all of them to a holiday overseas.

Me, Jan, Jer, Mum, Wai-Gong, Big Uncle, 2nd Uncle, Li-Khim, Nicholas, Small Uncle, 2nd Aunt, Xin Quan, His dad, 3rd Aunt and her 3 scrawny kids (1 more on the way!!), Her husband and Youngest Aunt........

Have been staying at home for the past few days. Now that the HK trip is confirmed, I'm more determined to save money.. Hmm.. make that not waste money.

KLW is sponsoring my trip to HK.... I feel guilty just saying that.. Hee. But he made my day.
Anyway, I just have to come up with spending money. Then I can splurge when I reach there.

Hehee.. Want to buy stuff for mum, Jan and Jer... I feel kind of guilty that they can't come along.. But oh while.. we will have fun at KL/Penang. =)

I want to find a job.. but who on earth will want to hire someone who works for 1 week before disappearing? So I guess I have to hide at home for one more week.

Staying at home is great. My daily itinerary:

Sleep at 5am after watching a 4am taiwanese soap opera on channel8. (Damn nice leh!!!)
Wake up at 8am to hear mum screaming at Jer to wake up to go to work. -_-"
Doze off again.
Wake up at 2 plus and eat whatever Siti has to offer. Usually instant noodles.. but I like.
Read Har*ry-Pot*ter.
Eat some snacks.
Wait for dinner. (Eat with parents.. can save $$.. Hehe..)
Lie on bed and fall asleep while watching the Rain*bow Connec*tions which still sucks very very much.
Wake up at 12am and surf the net.

The vicious cycle continues.

My bio clock is damn screwed eh. I think it's kind of boring reading this entry eh? But I kind of like this life. Really. But... I need to go to the library to borrow more books. Am finishing HP and OFTP which is really really addictive one you start reading. Who wants to borrow it?? It's really fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went swimming with KLW and his mum on Wed. Needed to exercise cos I could feel cellulite on my thighs.

This is my first time swimming 10 freaking laps!!! I always feel that 2 to 3 laps is sufficent exercise but KLW's mum swam 10 laps without much rest in between. So me, being MUCH younger, has to at least keep up with her. I was panting after the 4th lap.. but it got better after that.. Of course with much breaks at the end of each lap. Hehe...

I salute to KLW's mum and my mum. They are SOOOOOOO much fitter than me. I think my mum can be some marathon runner or walker (is that such a term?? Hehe..) She is so fit and her calves are so muscular, unlike Jan's or mine. Nvm.. I don't want muscular calves.

Anyway, hope to swim later. It's quite satisfying actually. To know that you actually exercised. But will have to depend on the weather.

So many blogs that I enjoy reading are closed. So sad eh... It's just depressing to see the ugly side of people i.e the flamers. Hmm.. why do some people want to put others down? Ecks. I mean if they are mean to you, then maybe it's justifiable to bitch and annoy them. But if the person is just a stranger to you, then why make it a point to hurt them? Haiyo.. So silly.

Never mind, I will find other forms of reading to pass my time. Am currently reading HP and the Or*der of the Phoe*nix since I have nothing to do. This is my 2nd or 3rd time reading it. I have no life eh.. Haha. Not going to expect much for the next HP movie cos I don't want to be disappointed again. -_-"

I came across some secondary schoolmates' blogs. Don't know them personally, but I have seen them in school (My sec school isn't that big).

Wow, i kind of envy them man. Their friendships lasted till today and they are still so close to one another. That's sweet. The friendships that I have in my secondary school days.. Well, we are either strangers or enemies now. I sometimes wonder why things will turn out like that eh.. Although I don't miss anyone of them now.. I just wonder why our friendships can't last, unlike some of the other girls.

That being said, I'm glad that Ali and I lasted till now since SC... That sounds so lesbian-y. Hee..
I love this girlfriend of mine!! Of course there is still Fee.. but we are not that close la....

Maybe it's just me. I'm not really great with friendships. Girl-girl relationships specifically. I'm envious of girls with lots of girlfriends. They can do all those girly stuff and waht not. Hee.. But of course, I have forged some girly friendships in hall and school now.. So I hope they will last.

I now understand how a certain famous blogger feels. I don't think the movie sucks though. Just disappointed that it is different from the book. I'm still grateful that there is a movie I can watch based on my favourite wizard.. but when things don't meet your expectations.. it is just kind of disappointing. Oh well....

An enjoyable day ended on a bad note. More on that later.

Went to watch the Cam*pus Super*star just now. Just for fun. Jerry and I had nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon so we just trooped off to town for a hot bowl of beef noodles and then to Bishan.

My first at such kind of auditions. Was quite interesting. I admire all those contestants that went up on stage to sing. They have the guts to try their luck on fame and not scared to be ridiculed by strangers in front of them. Sigh.. I will never have such guts. My face is too important to me and there only a damn thin layer of skin on it. Anyway, I can't sing for nuts and I'm overaged. -_-"

Jan's friend got into the second round. I wanted my siblings to try for it.. One can sing.. and one got the looks.. so why not. But alas, they being my siblings, are cowards too. Haha...

I spent the rest of the day with my siblings and Jan's friends. I actually enjoyed myself hanging out with 15 year-olds... Oh man.. that's freaking wierd. Haha... Guess I'm a kid at heart. =P

Speaking of Super*star...... Vote for Lee*Teng on Super*Host eh.. M6 I think.. He's is real good.. I think he can be the next Xiao Zhu...he's funny and talented.. though abit irritating sometimes.. Haha...

Going to finish Harry*Potter*and*the*Goblet*of*Fire soon. Few more chapters left. This is my third time reading it.. Just want to refresh my memory of the story before I catch it later. Can't wait actually.. I think that will cheer me up considerably.

Speaking of which, I'm not in a good mood cos I'm very very broke. Well, serves me right. I bought $70 worth of cosmetics just now. Just wanted a concealer cos I couldn't stand my two humongous swelling pimples on my face. Well... I then bought another make-up base moisturiser(just because it's on promotion) and the se*cret po*tion(cos it looks good on my sis). -_-"
Actually the real reason was because Jan wanted the free gift, which is a pretty keychain case with lip gloss and mirror inside. It's real sweet and pretty. I liked it too.. but I gave it to her. Oh well, it looked kind of princess-y and my sis is one eh. =)

The point is.. I'm sad now cos I wasted $70 on nonsense!!!!!!!!!

Well, KLW had a hair cut today and he dyed his hair. Woo hoo~ He looks so dashing and handsome now. *drools* No longer the Er Mao on my hp. Hiak hiak. He changed his hairstyle!!! Finally. He should anyway since his mum is a hairstylist and he can get professional haircut and dyes for free. Lucky him.

Well, I will post up pictures of my good-looking bf when I get the camera back from him. Heehee.

Had dinner at the Food Re*public at Wis*ma jsut now. The place was amazing. It doesn't even look like a food court. There were so many different stalls with aunties pushing carts around selling hot dim sums, drinks and ice-creams. The dim sum was yummy. I can't believe it is a freaking food court!!! And the most wonderful discovery was that the teppanyaki that disappeared from Bu*gis foodcourt is at Wis*ma!!! Woohoo~

Cheers to whoever that opened that foodcourt. No more restaurants for me in town. I rather go to Food Re*public now.

Maybe will go there later with my siblings for teppanyaki. If I can wake up that is. Hah.

Go check it out eh. I think that will be the new trend for foodcourts.

In the middle of the night...

Watched The Le*gend of Zor*ro last night... Fell asleep at the beginning of the show. Teehee... Wasted $1 of the movie ticket.. -_-"

Anyway, the show was alright... It's not as great as what my siblings said.. but I guess it's better than some of the movies I watched before.

Today was spent sleeping. I reckoned I am a few cm taller now since I slept so much today. KLW said a person will become taller if he keeps sleeping. Hah.. As if!

Woke up to a cold and soggy fish burger but it was still delicious. Thanks KLW!

Did manicure for Jan.. Her nails looked so pretty now.. with all the stars and pink cystals. *swoons*
Why do I have the disgusting habit of cutting my nails real short??? If not my nails will look as pretty as her. Bah!!!

I want to buy more crystals and stickers. I love to make girls look pretty.. especially if she is my sister. Teehee....

My bi-weekly mask sessions have paid off.. My skin is smoother now. Hiak hiak. Although I still have zits popping out.. I blame that on my parents for bad skin genes. Hehe.. I think everyone should do a mask every week. It's better if you can do it twice a week. It really works man!! I recommend masks from The Face Shop. They are cheap ($8 plus for a tube) and they really work to keep your skin smooth and moist. If you use other brands of mask now.. fine with it. Just do it twice a week. I'm sure you will see the results. Hehe.

The Face Shop is my favourite haunt now. They sell affordable cosmetics and a nail polish costs $2.50 only!! And the quality is really good. They are opening an outlet at Wis*ma and I can't wait to get more products from them. KLW uses their ginseng mask sheet weekly and they are good to soothe his sun-burnt skin.

Aiyah.. the point is go and buy some mask to pamper your skin. Especially if you have bad skin genes like me. Haha..

Speaking of spending money... I want to get my hands on one of these...

Can't seem to decide on the model. But I'm scared I will not be used to their sms system. Or whatever you call that. We celebrated Siti's birthday a week ago.
Sometimes I wonder why I can't be some damn rich bitch.. but I realise I'm much more fortunate than others. Siti is younger than me and she has to slogged here to earn a living while I slacked the whole day when I'm at home. Why do God create some of us and let them suffer on Earth? Hmm... I heard from somewhere that the present life is nothing as compared to the after life. But how do anyone know what happens then? If I can't enjoy myself now, how do I know I will be rewarded when I die? Sometimes I wonder man... Oh well..
