I see my little brother in a different light today.
Unknown to me, he has grown up a little, become more independent and actually more manly.

Me, being a sickly loserish weakling kena cramps today (just like every other month) and was unable to work with him.
He, instead of grumbling and complaining, good naturedly asked me to go back and rest and worked alone for the rest of the day.

I am such a freaking proud sister today.
Jerry is a grown up now, sorta.
=)

I know I am supposed to post about my discovery but I'm to darn lazy to do so now. Am reading Da*Vin*ci*Code again to prepare myself for the movie so I think I have something to do for now.. At least till tomorrow.

But I really need to.

The Lord has His own special way of working things out and I experienced it again today.
I prayed real hard everyday to ask him to show me my future direction and I know today is not the way to go.
Yet He knows that my ego is really freaking big so he nursed it back real well from a few months back.

And He blessed me with a sweetest bestie I can ever have, who accompanied me without any qualms or complains.

I went to cut my limp and lifeless hair today.
Can't tahan my fringe and had to keep pining them up curry-pok style.
So I trimmed it and had a damn nourishing and freaking expensive hair treatment.

But I guess it's all worth it.

My eating binge has taken a toll on my face. Whatever I binge on, it goes straight to my cheeks. No where else. Tmd.
I want to go for botox but it freaking costs $2K!!! Don't have those type of money to spare. =(
So I guess it's exercise for me..
Anyway, look at the hair. Not the face ok!


With my pwetty pwetty hair, I trooped around the whole of Far East Plaza all by myself. And I did not go on a shopping spree!!! Weeee~
I'm damn proud of myself leh!
I only bought a lacy top for 23 buckaroos...
And a white tube top so that I won't zao geng. Hee...
Come to think of it.. The whole combi costs me $38 so it's not very worth it hor?

But I couldn't tahan the lacy thing that was at the end so I snipped it off last Saturday and the pants looked so good now. =)
The lacy end is lying in my drawer now. Am thinking of making it into a necklace...(ermm.. if I'm creative enough..)

Caught the doggie movie, Below 8, just now.

I don't fancy dogs or any animals actually.

There was this couple seating beside us.
They actually brought their TOY puppies to watch the show.
The girl was actually hugging all her puny soft toys, with their eyes towards the screen.
Oh-My-Goodness!!!!! What were they thinking?
I mean I can understand if you bring your real pet out to watch a show on its own species.

I know I shouldn't judge them cos I can be quite wierd and cranky at times. But I just want to use the word 'Ridikulous' la. Teehee... So bo bian... Label them as that. =P

Oh ya.. Bof says the dogs in the movie are huskies or don't-know-what's-their-name.. We saw some in Singapore before. But don't think people should breed them here unless they are damn rich and let their dogs live in airconditioning 24/7.

It was an almost perfect day!

Yupyup.

My day started with the driving insructor NOT chiding me for my lousy bends and what not. I bet he was pms-ing last week. =P

I then met Bof and we took the train to Plaza Sing to hang out for awhile before he collects his car at the workshop. It is always fun to take the train with him cos we seldom do that. =)


We spent quite awhile in Spot*light where I bought stuff for some special people. I think Bof was bored from browsing at all the beads and ribbons and he got kind of cranky. Crazy bf I have.

We proceeded to collect his car and had Japanese buffet at Mi*ra*ma Hotel. Ooooo......

Fresh slices of salmon sashimi dipped in lots and lots of wasabi...

The restaurant is called I*koi and you need to make a reservation a week in advance if you want to dine there eh.
So Japanese food lovers... Must go there and try before you die eh. It's really worth it! =)

I was at the Clementi interchange waiting for 173 when I saw this blind guy asking for help. I decided to help him, thinking that he needs help to get somewhere. Sure enough he wants to go to the nearest coffeeshop.

"No problem", I thought. But when we were nearing the coffeeshop, he asked me to order some food and a drink for him AND blatantly asked me to PAY for it.

WHAT THE HELL!

It is obviously a freaking scam lor. I don't believe he doesn't have a single cent on him to pay for his food. He asking me to lead him to the coffeeshop is trap for me to pay for his lunch. Argh... I hate my kindness to be exploited like that!!!!

I don't mind buying tissue paper from the handicapped but YOU DON'T CHEAT ME OF MY MONEY IN THIS WAY!!! Argh!!!!!!!!!

You may think that I'm a miser or a meanie for reacting this way but it just irks me when people take advantage of my kindness man. Tmd.

And of course, I'm such a stupid piece of shit for not rejecting him in the first place. Freaking stupid coward.

I'm just going to stick to donating to the elderly and children from now on. Bah!!!!

I indulged myself today. =)

Went Queensway S.C. to make new specs. One for me and one for Jan. The frames there are really unique and cheap. $90 per pair. So if you want new specs, can ask me for the address eh.

Jan and I then proceeded to town for Ding Tai Fung cos I was craving for it.
Yummilicious.
But my appetite was not as good as before so we couldn't finish the usual amount that we ordered. Wasted leh...
But i really love DTF to pieces...

Dinner was followed by shopping spree. Bought a black beaded necklace for 9 buckaroos.. Quite cheap I guess. Oh ya.. if you have those beaded necklace, you can tie a same coloured ribbon on it. Will look unique eh.

I then bought Jan a short yellow skirt from Zara. It looks good with the black leggings eh.. (Don't be silly to think that the striped top matches with the skirt. It does not!!!)

I came to a conclusion that only young girls like my sis can carry off the leggings look. So I don't think I will wear the leggings other than with my Chang Jin dress. =(

Speaking of leggings, this is another one that I bought for Jan ages ago. Matches well with the overalls that Mum bought for her in KL.

Those were the days...

I was tossing and turning on my bed last night for the longest time possible when the handphones' alarm started ringing.

Oh-goodness-me!!! My sister is waking up to go to school.

It was then when I realised I kind of missed those days when I had to wake up damn early to go to school. No need to think of what clothes to wear, what shoes to match.. No need to put on mascara, cheek stain yada yada yada. Just bim, bam, bong and go.

Oh well.. Every morning see all the grumpy faces waiting for the buses to go to school.. it's kind of interesting. Wonder if Jan and Jerry see all these grumpy faces in the morning too. Hmm.. I miss going to school with Ali Cai. I had to suffer her nonsense and torture for 4 freaking years.. Heehee.. Poor me. =P

AJ life was spent rushing to catch the stupid dreaded 852 that I always seem to miss and spending all my money on taxi fares. Bah! And spending time after school to go for detentions to clean the stupid school cos I'm late. Boo... (Apparently Jan is also spending her time in detention now cos of lateness. Wahahha.. Like sister, like sister. =) Proud of her!)

I remembered once I was 'lucky' enough to wake my dad up to fetch me to school cos I was running late.. But he decided to bring me for a tour around the island and I ended up even later than usual, only to have my form tutor looking at me sternly at the front office.

Well well... those were the days man.. that will never happen again...
So Jan and Jerry, appreciate waking up at 6am in the morning while your pretty sister snuggle in bed. =)

And ya.. I know my bio clock is pretty screwed.

I'm a person that doesn't like to be reprimanded.
So today's driving lesson kind of annoyed me. Very very much.
No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to meet my instructor's expectations.

I really really don't understand why I can't handle a bend. Really will knock into the kerb meh? Just let me try la. I don't believe I'm that lousy at estimating the angle. Hmpff...

That being said, I think I'm quite good at the changing gear and what not. I only stalled once today. Hehehee... On the road.. Not bad ok! =P

As leggings are very fashionable now, I bought a few pairs.
But alas, I have no courage to wear it till now. So Janice Soh is my guinea pig. And she looks freaking good in it.
I bought a pair of black stockings today, to match my Chang Jin-inspired dress. But it doesn't look as good as my pair of black leggings. So the day I dare to wear leggings will be on L'Bof's friend's wedding dinner. I CAN'T wait. Teehee...
As for my black stockings, I think matching with boots will look real good. So I guess my next quest will be sexy boots like the one pretty Miss Hao has. =)

I'm a CARNIVORE!

Today (Saturday to be exact) is KLW's grandma's 90th birthday.

Cool eh.. Imagine living on this planet for 90 FREAKING years!!! Wow. And she is one healthy strong lady with a big appetite.
Anyway, we went for vegetarian food (More about that later).

I'm amazed at how KLW is so cuddly huggy with his ah ma. He gives her hugs, holds her hand, talks to her in Cantonese and yada yada...
I really can't imagine myself hugging my ah ma or my ah gong like the way he does to his. It's just awkward man. Hey, I love them alot but I guess I'm can't bring myself to show them affection in this way. So I guess I'm envious of KLW and his grandma.
Such a sweet little blob of fats. =)

Back to vegetarian food.
The dinner I had just now was not bad actually. The longevity noodle was quite tasty with all the beansprouts and veggies and the 'mutton' curry and sweet and sour 'pork' really tasted like the real thing.
ASTONISHING!!!!

I don't remember vegetarian food being so tasty. My latest memory of vegetarian food was on my first day in AJ. The canteen was damn freaking crowded and the vegetarian food was the only stall without a long queue. So I bought a plate of noodles with some mock meat for my break. The first taste was like On-my-goodness-freaking-disgusting-pui!!!
I stayed away from that stall and vegetarian food from then on. And my classmates thought I was so skinny because I was a vegetarian on the 1st day of school. -_-"

Well well... today's dinner changed my mind about vegetarian food.
But I really don't understand why vegetarians want to eat mock meat aka flour when they want to convert into vegetarians because it just doesn't make sense. Just eat veggies all the way mah.. if you want to stay away from meat. Right? Hmm.... a mystery in life....

I don't think I will rush off to have vegetarian food during my meals unless I really can't help it. After all, Miss Soh here is a carnivore. ROAR!!

Kind of lost now.
Another stage of my life will begin after 26th April 2006.

I really don't know what to do.

I'm going to miss working with Cindy, Shichao, Weijun and Weixiong.
They really brightened up my life in NBS.

That stupid phone kept hanging, switches off by itself when it feels like it and my sister's keypad decided that it did not want to function anymore (which is good considering all the sms she chalks up a month.. )

And we did not send in the warranty card.. So I have no idea if Jan's phone can be repaired.

Right...

To sum it up,

1. Send in the FREAKING warranty card the moment you get a spanking new phone.

2. Motorola Razr really really suck. Please don't even consider buying it.

3. Pretty things don't last.
We only have our hps for freaking 5 months only!!!!!!!!!!! Boo..
