The weekend literally flew past.
That's damn sad la. Boo.

Ate @ my favourite restaurant on Friday. XLB, fried rice.. shiokalulu.

Caught 10,000 BC on Sat. It was really worth $10 and the agony of sitting in the 1st row.
Dined @ Fres(n)h.
Photobucket
The sandwiches were really tasty and fresh and we enjoyed every morsel of it. But as Koo said, the portion was "Jia buay bah, yeow buay see" so those with ferocious appetites need to eat dessert or something after that.
Fres(n)h
Vivocity
Level 01-163

Went for massage earlier on and it was freaking satisfying. My back is giving me problems nowadays so hopefully I will be able to sleep well tonight.
Ate @ my favourite hawker centre and these are the MUST-TRYS if u ever go there.
Fried Carrot cake.
The stall is the one at a corner. People usually orders from there so I assume everyone will know where it is.
Photobucket
Best-est Satay Beehoon ever.
This stall has the longest queue ever and it's the only one selling Satay Beehoon so it's easy to find.
Photobucket
Mutton soup.
Photobucket
This stall is also located @ the end of the row so go search for it. The stall sells that peanut pancake thingy in the morning and soup @ night.
I have been craving for this for the longest time ever so I'm damn glad that I ate it tonight. Hoh.

Anyway there are loads to eat @ Bukit Timah Hawker Centre but these are the usual few that I order. The family and I have been eating them since young so they are THAT TASTY to survive so long.

Okie. On a random note, look @ my sis's eyelashes.
Photobucket
Photobucket
Are they freaking long or what????
FYI, these are real eyelashes. No fake ones involved.
The bro's eyelashes are damn long too. Mine is the shortest in fact. But I still love them. Hoh.
Wonder who did we inherit from. Hmmm...

Bkk buys.
The bro.
Photobucket
Shirt (Bkk)- $16
Berms (Bugis)- $25
Leather bracelets (Bkk)- S$4

The boy.
Photobucket

Photobucket
Photobucket
I think she looks damn freaking good today.
Dress (Bugis) - $45 (Atrocious considering I saw it @ Bkk for $16. -_-")
Leather belt (Bkk)- $4
MM ring (Bkk)- $16
Leather bracelets (Bkk)- $3 (Cheapcheap!!)
Frankly speaking, does my sis look like a Ah Lian??? She is such a sweet soft-spoken girl who is always bullied by me and the bro. I dont understand why will people call her that. Wierdos~
-_-"

Me.
Photobucket
Do 24 year olds wear such stuff??? I hope so man...
Sigh.. that sounds so old.. =(
Blue dress (Bkk)- $16
Necklace (Bkk)- $16 (I told you I went crazy buying accessories in Bkk.)
Leather bracelets (Bkk)- $4

And so it's 9.46pm now. Time to bathe and go to sleep.
Depressing. Till the next weekend. Boo!

Friday, March 28, 2008

To hear 2 people leaving in one day is freaking depressing.
It just shows how lost I am since I have no idea what I really want.
And to hell with whoever that is reading this (except those peeps that i know),
I really hate my job scope. So I need a freaking alternative.
Please guide me man..
=(

Food, food and more food.

In a bid to be healthier, I went for a jog earlier on.
Ate fruit salad for dinner, which was absolutely yummilicious.
Photobucket
Fruits needed:-
Whatever you can find in the fridge.
For the above, mum cut up kiwi, apples, strawberries, dragonfruit and grapes.

And the key ingredient to this scrumptious-mumptious salad is.......
Photobucket
Tadah!!!!
(We-love-salad-brand?!?) Japanese vinegarette.

I don't know what's with this salad dressing but it's makes every fruit and vegetable tastes so freaking good. Yums. =)

You can get this @ those Isetan supermarkets. It's really really good. Go buy one and try. I'm sure you will love it just like I did. =)

And for some really cheap and good Nonya food....

Try Nonya Delicatessen @ Bt Timah Plaza.

Prices start from $3.50.
Photobucket
Their Mee-siam is to die for. So are the mee rebus, rojak and nasi kunyit (apparently).
I have been eating the mee siam for years and they are seriously the best around.
I wanted to take a photo of the mee siam but I forgot all about it once I laid my hands on the food. -_-"

And for sinful desserts, you must head down to (boring) Jurong Point for...

Absolutely divine (albeit expensive) Japanese crepes.
Photobucket

This is like our craving of the moment.
I will always order the strawberry crepe with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce while Koo will have the egg and ham crepe.
Go try it if you happen to be there.

Crepe House@ Jurong Point
Level 2 (Behind Andersen's Ice cream)
Prices start from $5 (I think!)

Lastly, you must head down to

Provence Bakery and Cafe @ Holland Village
17A Lorong Liput

Mum bought back 10 chocolate swirl buns yesterday and I finished 5 of them.
They are so DELISH that I forget all about evil carbos. Hoho.
I want to buy more of them but it's quite inconvenient so Mr Koo, please fetch me there on a weekend and I will buy some for you. =P

Photobucket
Ya.. I know it doesnt look appetizing but it's due to my lousy photography skills.
Thinking of it makes me drool.
Sigh.

I also love Dodo balls but they are from 4 leaves and can be found everywhere so that's that.
Photobucket

I'm thinking of eating that last packet of Dodo balls in the kitchen but that will just means I wasted my effort running. Boo. Don't be a glutton Mei. I shall go study now. Byez.

Sunday, March 16, 2008

Went for the hall's alumni day last night.
Hmmm... it was an "interesting" experience.
Saw people that I would otherwise have never seen again.
Met up with the friends that I do care about.
Appreciate the fact that the organisers prepared the food.
But that's about it. -_-"
It was my first and will be my last.

The Head, Miss Hao, Koo and I hanged out @ Bedok for Bak Chor Mee after that.
So much more enjoyable. -_-"

I know I may sound like a ungrateful bitch.
But seriously, I'm just being straightforward.

Okie dokes.
I have so much food to recommend but I need to go.
Byez.

Saturday, March 15, 2008

I'm supposed to be studying but I ended up watching shows on youtube.
Projectrunway is "fierce"!!
Freaking talented designers.
Dyed the hair black so no more worries about growing roots.
Love the new hair.
Hate the textbook.
Till the next time.

Photobucket
So we are officially together for four years today.
=)
Ate @ Garibaldi- an Italian restaurant.
The food was really exquisite and we enjoyed every morsel of it.
But the price was defintely "exquisite" too.
It came up to S$350 for 2 of us but we think it's worth it.
=P
Save it for a REALLY SPECIAL occasion like us and you will blow your date away.

Otherwise, try Ricciotti, an Italian bistro under the same group of restaurants.
The food (pizza, pasta) are very tasty too and the prices, affordable.
The desserts are equally yummy.
Had lunch there on a few occasions and enjoyed every visit.

Check out the website for the venues (Too lazy to type out!!):- http://www.garibaldigroup.com.sg/

And Mr Koo, thanks for being the bestest bf ever.
Love you loads loads!!!!
Muacks!
Happy No. 4!
=P

Melt- The World Cafe

Celebrated no. 4 @ Melt today.
Photobucket
Photobucket
Enjoyed ourselves thoroughly cos it was like a food heaven.
BBQ-ed lamb, steak and prawn.
Freshest of them all salmon sashimi.
Ice cold soba (Yums!!)
Fresh oysters, crayfish and humongous prawns.
Assortment of desserts- the waffles were to die for. Movenpick ice-cream. Chocolate fondue. Fresh fruits. Cakes and what not.
And most importantly, the service was impeccable.

There were actually other sections- Indian food, Thai food, Chinese food and Western food but I didn't try them since my appetite is puny.

Am definitely going back there and I think all of you should too.
At least for a special occasion.
Definitely no. 1 on my buffet list. =)

Melt- The World Cafe
Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Level 4
Tel: 6885 3082

The bill came up to $164 for 2 of us but there is a 15% discount for HSBC, Citibank and DBS (I think!!) credit cards so it was $70 each only.

It has been awhile since we explored new eateries together so it was definitely enjoyable today.
=)

Met up with the Head, Freddie, Miss Hao and Xiaomin last night @ Que Pasa.
It's a pub and I love their Riesling here.
Anyway the chicken wings and pizza are great so I think it's quite a cool place to chill out and have some drinks.

I realised we seldom take photos when we hang out.
Timbre on the next occasion and take photos eh!!
=P

Oh ya, Ali and I went shopping last week and we bought Bobbi Brown eyeliners each.
Photobucket
I must say it's really long lasting and there were no panda eyes after the end of the day. (Same comments from Ali.)
And it's really easy to apply.
Putting on eyeliner is a breeze now and I just do away with the mascara.
Photobucket
(This only took me 5 mins.)

There's a current promotion where you get 2 bottles of eyeliner (Black and Chocolate Shimmer Ink), eyeliner brush and a bottle of eye makeup remover for $82.
Quite worth it if you want easy to use eyeliner.

Wakeboarding later.
How to wake up?? Ecks..........
